Blackie and Joy; Steve; Lisa, Jim and Leia. The boys together for the first time in over 30 years. Good to catch up after such a long absence. Lots of stories and adventures mainly from Blackie given that he served over 25 years in 1 and 2 Para. However, Steve had his own adventures that intrigued and shocked us during his time out in civvie street. Joy and Lisa got on well and we hope these visits are many and not long a gap beforehand.Thursday, April 10, 2008
John Rolph
John Rolph, my former section commander in South Armagh. After leaving 1 Para, John joined the Fire Service reaching the rank of 'Assistant Chief Fire Officer'. A keen interest in flying after gaining his pilots licence.Another ex Para that has done well for himself in his chosen career.
